In the News – NYU Abu Dhabi Undergraduates Propose a Protocol for 5G Internet

Ken Iiyoshi, Ruth Gebremedhin, and Mahrukh Tauseef are computer engineering students at New York University Abu Dhabi. They have proposed a new real time haptic communication protocol that will be potentially based on the 5G Internet. Their undergrad research work has been featured in ** Council on Undergraduate Research**. Ken, Ruth and Mahrukh are working towards their capstone project with AimLab under the supervision of Mohamad A. Eid to develop a multimodal (haptic-audio-visual) dental training simulation system.
