Successful PhD Qualification Exam – Ken iiyoshi

On September 7th, 2022, Ken iiyoshi, a PhD student at AIM Lab, successfully completed his PhD qualification exam. The exam is the first of the three key exams required in NYU Abu Dhabi’s PhD program. It serves to demonstrate a students’ ability to perform novel research, as well as their technical knowledge from the graduate courses they took. The exam was hosted by four exam committee members from NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Tandon. The exam consisted of a research presentation, followed by oral questions testing technical knowledge from the coursework Ken completed at NYU Tandon. He will now continue his research as a PhD Candidate. Congratulations!
